Course Description

Course Description:

Infants and toddlers need adequate sleep to grow, learn and stay healthy. A reported 20-30% of infants, toddlers and preschoolers struggle with behaviors and symptoms related to inadequate sleep. Sleep problems left untreated can become chronic.  This course will provide practical information and strategies that practitioners can use to support families in achieving optimal sleep for their children. Practicing health professionals working with infants and toddlers and their caregivers need the knowledge and resources to identify atypical sleep patterns and provide parent education regarding evidence-based behavioral intervention strategies to facilitate the development of healthy sleep habits.
